APP OF THE WEEK:  Don’t have SIRI or an iPhone? No worries. Vlingo to the rescue!

It won’t solve all your voice activated problems, but it addresses quite a few. Before I had an iPhone 4s with Siri techonology, I had VLINGO!  You can get it on Blackberry and Android, as well as iPhone.
