Maybe it’s just me but the girls seemed especially catty this week. Maybe they are always like that, but the editors just showed us more of it this week. Lauren Brie (who I thought was nice and respectful) bagged on Analeigh the whole time. Sheen was busting on Lauren Brie. Elina was busting on Samantha. It was like a bunch of teenage girls in a high school bathroom. Okay, so some of them are teenagers, but still.
I had no idea that people in Europe don’t express their emotions. I’m sure they’d be surprised to know that as well. On that note, I didn’t realize that Elina had lived for the first eight years of her life in the Ukraine. I had a pen pal once in the Ukraine. His name was Yuri. Nice guy, but then he started asking me to send him money.
Marjorie has quickly gone from being the emotional wreck to being the frontrunner in this competition. Her face is just amazing. She’s unique. I like her. I still like Joslyn the best, but Marjorie and Analeigh are both up there as well.
Speaking of Joslyn, what happened at the elimination?? Her picture got all these rave reviews while they criticized Samantha and Elina’s pictures. So how did they end up getting called before her? It was ridiculous! I can’t figure these people out. She at worst should have been called fourth, but I think she should have been called second after Marjorie. I kept sitting there as they were calling out names saying what I thought they would (and should) be.
Me: “Marjorie”
Tyra: “Marjorie”
Me: “Joslyn”
Tyra: “Analeigh”
Me: “Joslyn”
Tyra: “McKey”
Me: “JOSLYN”
Tyra: “Samantha”
Me: “JOSLYN!”
Tyra: “Elina”
Me: “JOSLYN!!!”
Tyra: “Joslyn”
Me: “BOUT TIME!!!”
Anyway…
The photo shoot was a fun idea, but wasn’t as fun in the execution. Sheena deserved to be the bottom two because she was awful in the shoot. Lauren Brie was too stiff, so she deserved it, too. I knew it was between those two and Elina. (But somehow she got called before Joslyn. I’m not bitter about it, though.)
Lauren Brie sounded pretty bitter after she was eliminated. She didn’t even hug the other girls when she left. Kind of sad, because I always liked her and appreciated how she separated herself from the drama up until this week.
Next week, we get to see the commercials that are always stellar. And there’s a fight between Elina and Sheena. Blah. They’ll be best friends in a few weeks - if they both make it that long. Be back next week!
