Carolina Cruiser Has Been Cancelled!!!!

12 comments Posted by Big Al on February 25, 2009 at 12:27 pm

That’s right, its over!!!! Big Al and Hayley will be doing a New Bike/ Powersports Show in Charlotte, NC so we wanted to take a minute to thank all our Fans.  No, I didn’t quit Cruiser, and no I didn’t get fired either. Seems that even though Big Al and Hayley raised the ratings the highest the show has ever seen, the economy has cut the TV station’s costs so badly that the show had to be cancelled. Well thanks for watchin’ and just so you can keep up with Big Al and Hayley’s NEW BIKE SHOW IN CHARLOTTE, here is MY personal new email address, (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)  See you on the road. Oh and yes, a ton of my Fans and friends will be riding to Myrtle Beach Bike Week 09 this spring. email me if you want to jump in. See ya!

Ha - not what your station folks are saying - heard your ratings pretty much were in the toilet since you took over!

Yup - I heard the same thing.  The whole dog thing was pretty cheesy - a grown man playing dress up with a little ankle biter?  He probably has dolls at home too.

I stopped watching after the chick left - the new guy’s ego didn’t fit on my flatscreen and its a big’un!

Sounds like Markus is just making things up since he hasn’t seen the ratings reports. And who have you talked to at the station Markus? Your imaginary friend?
Same for you Jerry, who have you talked to? Don’t jump on the bandwagon. Get all the facts before you make a fool of yourself.
And Tater, if it was all about the chick with the big boobs, then you just need to turn to the porn channel. Sure she was eye candy, but she was BORING!
And finally to Charlie…everything here is I heard this, I heard that, I heard everything… GET THE FACTS before you post some idiotic remarks. You didn’t see what happened when the cameras were off. That dog is treated so well. If you didn’t like the show, then why are you loyally checking the website posting comments and bashing Big Al and Hayley?
If you can’t believe that the show was cancelled due to sponsors backing out because of the economy, where have you been for the past year?
Show some respect to these people and the show that they have brought to the biker community. They thought of you when this show was put together.

Hey, I enjoyed the “chick” and also enjoyed watching Al. I wish him the best of luck in his new job and hope to watch the show if possible. Will this web site stay up or just fade away? I do(did) really use the EVENTS button to plan some of my rides. If this site closes, does anyone know where to gets events around the Spartanburg, Greenville, Gaffney (UPSTATE) area?

Carolina Bike Rally Revs Up Support For Wounded Service Members

JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, - Engines will be roaring at this year’s 2009 Carolina Bike Rally scheduled for April 24-26th, amid the sixty acres at Cabin Creek Campground in Jacksonville, NC.  Originally known as the “Outer Banks Bike Rally,” this year’s rally has cruised down the coast to Jacksonville, to bring more fun, music, games and vendors to fuel the crowd.  The Bike Show, which will be for all classes of motorcycles, along with the “Ride the Crystal Coast” Poker Run, allows bikers to go “all in” on a weekend of fun.
Proceeds from the 2009 Carolina Bike Rally will benefit Hope For The Warriors™, a national, non-profit group actively seeking to ensure that the sacrifices of the wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.  Steve Winsett, promoter of the bike rally says he and fellow promoter Ron Johnson are excited about this year’s event.  “We will have two poker runs going on simultaneously; one going south from Jacksonville to Wilmington and the other one going north from Jacksonville to Morehead City.  Folks can choose the run they want.  There is no entry fee. We are calling this our ‘stimulus package.’  It’s about giving back to the community and supporting our troops.  This is not about us but about the troops,” Winsett stated.

Maybe comments 1-4 were left by “guys” that were just jealous that THEY didn’t have a show.  The dog is cute and Big Al is awesome. Don’t be hatin’!!

Good morning. I prefer the company of peasants because they have not been educated sufficiently to reason incorrectly.
I am from Rwanda and also now am reading in English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: “Airline tickets to germany can be bought online and the airline tickets to germany can even got from the counters at the airport in the city where one.”

THX :-), Rob.
